Klaus Peter Schreiner (born April 7, 1930 in Zweibrücken, Pfalz , † February 7, 2017 in Walluf ) was a German cabaret artist and author .

Life

In 1949, Schreiner began studying chemistry in Mainz , but then changed the subject and enrolled in the philosophy faculty. In the same year he first met Hanns Dieter Hüsch . In 1950 Klaus Peter Schreiner moved to Munich , where he studied theater studies, literary history, newspaper studies and art history.

His cabaret career began in 1952 with the student cabaret Die Seminarren . There followed appearances and a. in the Düsseldorfer Kom (m) ödchen . On the occasion of a carnival festival of the theater scholars, the nameless were created together with Dieter Hildebrandt . Sammy Drechsel took over the direction from the third program and in 1956 developed the Münchner Lach- und Schießgesellschaft out of the nameless . 1957 followed appearances with Die Amnestierte . From 1992 he went on tour with his own programs, first with his cabaret program Meistersatiren , from 1993 with master satires from 40 years of cabaret with performances a. a. in Hamburg, Nuremberg, Berlin, Munich, Stuttgart, Leipzig, Chemnitz, Salzburg, Antwerp, Würzburg, Bonn and Kufstein. In 2002 his program once Germany and back followed .

The connection to the Lach- und Schießgesellschaft remained despite numerous changes in the performers. In 1996 he was present at the big jubilee of the Lach- und Schießgesellschaft as well as on April 26, 1999 at their premiere of Deutsch mit Schuss . Schreiner died at the age of 86 in a nursing home in Walluf in the Rheingau. His grave is in the forest cemetery in Schlangenbad .
