Kobišnica ( Cyrillic Кобишница) is a village in the Opština Negotin and Bor district in eastern Serbia .

geography

location

Kobišnica is located in the border triangle Bulgaria - Serbia - Romania , and only a few kilometers from the Danube . The village is connected to the village of Bukovče and lies on the Jasenička Reka River .

history

The first houses were built in the 15th and 16th centuries on what is now the village. Nothing is known about the further history of the village.

The villages Kobisnica and Bukovce formed a municipality that was called Turbuhinovo until the end of the First World War . After 1914 the two villages Kobisnica and Bukovce were founded from Turbuhinovo.
