Jabukovac ( Cyrillic : Јабуковац ) is a village in Opština Negotin and Okrug Bor in eastern Serbia . The village is first mentioned by name in 1542. It is mostly inhabited by Wallachians.
Internationally, the village hit the headlines in the summer of 2007 when nine people were shot dead in the Jabukovac rampage .

Geographical location
Jabukovac is 220 meters above sea level. The village was built on several hills, which is why it can only be reached by mountainous and winding roads.

In Jabukovac, as in the surrounding villages and communities, there is a temperate continental climate with the four seasons usual for Europe.
