Crnomasnica ( Cyrillic Црномасница ) is a village in the Negotin Opština and Bor district in Serbia .

history

There are no written records or mentions of this village prior to 1919.

Until 1919 Crnomasnica was under Bulgarian occupation. Then the village, as well as the rest of this region , was annexed to the Kingdom of Slovenes , Croats and Serbs ( Yugoslavia ).

Church of Holy Prophet Jeremias

The Serbian Orthodox Church, consecrated to the Holy Prophet Jeremias, is built in the village . The foundations of the church were consecrated by the Eparch Ilarion (Golubović) of the Timok Eparchy on September 16, 2014. The church belongs to the Timok Eparchy of the Serbian Orthodox Church and is the first church to be built in the village.
