Kolonia Łomnicka ( German Tellsruh ) is a village in the city-and-country municipality Olesno (Rosenberg) in the powiat Oleski of the Opole (Opole) Voivodeship in Poland .

geography

Kolonia Łomnicka is located 8.5 kilometers southeast of Olesno and around 40 kilometers northeast of Opole in the Upper Silesia region . The village is surrounded in all directions - to the north by loosened - coniferous forests.

history

The Tellsruh colony was founded in 1780 by Leopold Konrad Ludwig von Gessler.

In 1840 a Catholic school was built in the village. The Catholic Tellsruh was parish off to Wyssoka - there was a branch church in Lomnitz .

In the referendum in Upper Silesia on March 20, 1921, 44 people voted in Tellsruh to remain with Germany and 120 to join Poland. Since the majority of the Rosenberg constituency voted for Germany, Tellsruh remained with the German Empire.

On November 1, 1928, the rural community Tellsruh was merged with the rural community Lomnitz and the manor district Schoffschütz to form the rural community Lomnitz.

After the Second World War , the village came under Polish administration as Kolonia Łomnicka in 1945 .

From 1958 to 1963 a Catholic branch church was built in the village.
