Coupling break

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Koppelbruch is a former residential area ( desert ), today located in the area of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland .

The desert is located in Western Pomerania , about 95 kilometers northeast of Stettin and about 16 kilometers south of Kołobrzeg (Kolberg) .

Before 1945, the living space consisted of a single courtyard, which was about 2 ½ kilometers southwest of Groß Jestin am Steinbach. In 1905 there were 7 residents here. In the 19th century, some farms ("extensions") of the nearby Kämitzfeld were understood as part of Koppelbruch; this explains the higher population figures in 1871 of 113 inhabitants and in 1895 of 55 inhabitants.

Until 1945 Koppelbruch formed a place to live in the community of Groß Jestin and belonged with this to the Kolberg-Körlin district in the province of Pomerania .

In 1945 Koppelbruch came to Poland, like all of Western Pomerania. Today the living space is desolate . The desert lies in the area of the Polish Gmina Gościno (municipality of Groß Jestin) .
