history

The living space arose from the estate of the village of Groß Jestin : Groß Jestin has been a town owned village of the city of Kołobrzeg since the Middle Ages, to be precise since 1347 . In the 17th century the city moved six points and four Bauer Kossätenstellen and trained them Vorwerk , so a farm estate. In 1833 the buildings of the Vorwerk in the village of Groß Jestin burned down. The subsequent construction of the manor complex was no longer carried out within the village of Groß Jestin, but about 1 ½ kilometers southeast of the village on the road to Moitzlin .

After 1851 the city of Kolberg separated land from the Groß Jestin estate and sold it to a farmer. The buyer built his own manor northeast of Groß Jestin, which was named Johannisberg .

In 1855 the city of Kolberg sold the Groß Jestin estate to a merchant Meyer from Körlin . After a change of ownership, a Paul Müller acquired the estate in 1890 and managed it until 1945.

Around 1900, the Groß Jestin Vorwerk was laid out in the Feldmark about 2 kilometers southwest of the estate (today it is desolate).

In 1909, Gut Groß Jestin received a railway connection with the construction of the Groß Jestin – Groß Pobloth railway line of the Kolberger Kleinbahn and its own station for Gut Groß Jestin. The route was extended in 1915 via Groß Pobloth to Körlin . It is shut down today.

Until 1945 Gut Groß Jestin formed a residential area in the municipality Groß Jestin and belonged with this to the district of Kolberg-Körlin in the province of Pomerania .

Towards the end of the Second World War , Groß Jestin was occupied by the Red Army . Like all areas east of the Oder-Neisse border , the town came to Poland. The population was driven out . The place name was Polonized as "Gościno-Dwór".

The place is today in the Gmina Gościno (municipality Groß Jestin) in the powiat Kołobrzeski (Kolberger Kreis) . There he belongs to the Schulzenamt Gościno.
