Small train station Groß Jestin

Groß Jestin Railway Station is a former residential area , today located in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland .

The place is in Western Pomerania , about a hundred kilometers northeast of Stettin and about fifteen kilometers south of Kołobrzeg (Kolberg) .

The living space consisted of the railway station of Kolberger light railway in Groß Jestin . The station was put into operation in 1895 with the opening of the Groß Jestin – Stolzenberg and Roman – Kolberg lines. In 1895 one inhabitant was counted here, in 1905 there were three inhabitants.

Until 1945, Kleinbahnhof Groß Jestin formed a residential area in the municipality of Groß Jestin and belonged to the Kolberg-Körlin district in the Pomerania province .

In 1945 the place of residence came to Poland, like all of Western Pomerania. The small railway was shut down in 1967 and the railway facilities were subsequently dismantled. Today the place is in the north-west of the Gościno building (Great Jestin) ; it has no special place name in the Polish language.
