from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Schneidemühle Eulenberg is a former residential area ( desert ), now located in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland .

The desert is located in Pomerania , about 100 kilometers northeast of Stettin and about 12 kilometers south of Kołobrzeg (Kolberg) .

The living space was created when a water-powered sawmill was built around 2 ½ kilometers north of Groß Jestin on the Persante in 1890 . In 1895 8 inhabitants were counted here, in 1905 there were 12 inhabitants.

Until 1945, Schneidemühle Eulenberg formed a place to live in the community of Groß Jestin and belonged with this to the Kolberg-Körlin district in the province of Pomerania .

In 1945, like all of Western Pomerania, Schneidemühle Eulenberg came to Poland. The sawmill systems were dismantled. Today the living space is desolate . The desert lies in the area of the Polish Gmina Gościno (municipality of Groß Jestin) .
