Vorwerk Groß Jestin

Vorwerk Groß Jestin is a former residential area ( desert ), today located in the area of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland .

The desert is located in Western Pomerania , about 95 kilometers northeast of Stettin and about 18 kilometers south of Kołobrzeg (Kolberg) .

The living space was laid out around 1900 as an outbuilding for the Groß Jestin estate . The Vorwerk was off the beaten track in the Feldmark about 2 kilometers southwest of the estate, west of the Groß Jestin – Stolzenberg railway line of the Kolberger Kleinbahn . In 1905 there were 12 residents here.

Until 1945, Vorwerk Groß Jestin formed a residential area in the municipality Groß Jestin and belonged with this to the Kolberg-Körlin district in the province of Pomerania .

In 1945, Vorwerk Groß Jestin, like all of Western Pomerania, came to Poland. Today the living space is desolate . The desert lies in the area of the Polish Gmina Gościno (municipality of Groß Jestin) .
