Lubkowice

Lubkowice (German Johannisberg ) is a residential area in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland . He belongs to the Gmina Gościno (community Groß Jestin) in the powiat Kołobrzeski ( Kolberg district ).

The living space is in Western Pomerania , about 100 kilometers northeast of Stettin and about 14 kilometers south of Kołobrzeg ( Kolberg ), on the northeastern outskirts of Gościno (Groß Jestin) .

The living space was laid out as a farm after 1851. At that time, land was separated from the Groß Jestin estate , which was owned by the city of Kolberg , and sold to a farmer. The buyer built an estate northeast of Groß Jestin , which was named Johannisberg. In 1928 the farm comprised 349 hectares of land, 259 hectares of which were arable.

In the 1930s, the owner at the time sold the Johannisberg estate to the Pomeranian Landgesellschaft . The land company divided up the estate. They created six new farm positions north of the estate on the Wischberg. A remnant Johannisberg with 70 hectares of land remained.

In Johannisberg there were 93 inhabitants in 1864, 103 in 1895 and 129 in 1905.

Before 1945 Johannisberg formed a residential area in the community of Groß Jestin and belonged with this to the Kolberg-Körlin district .

In 1945 Johannisberg came to Poland, like all of Western Pomerania. The place received the Polish place name "Lubkowice". In 2017 there were 38 inhabitants.
