The 2003/04 season was the eighth regular season of the Ligue de hockey senior majeur du Québec (LHSMQ) (until 2003 Ligue de hockey semi-professionnelle de Québec). The 14 teams completed 50 matches each in the regular season . The team with the highest points in the regular season were the Prolab de Thetford Mines , while the Dragons de Verdun won the Coupe Futura for the first time in the play-offs . Before the season, the league changed its name based on the Ligue de hockey junior majeur du Québec (LHJMQ).

Coupe Futura playoffs

First, the six best teams in each division met in the pre-playoffs against the other teams in their division, with each team playing six games. In the Est division, Pont-Rouge, St. Georges, Thetford and Rivière-du-Loup could finally qualify; in the St. Jean, St. Hyacinthe, Sherbrooke and Verdun division.
