The Lancia Astura was an automobile manufacturer's Lancia , which was produced from 1931 to 1939. The previous model Lancia Lambda was replaced by the cheaper Lancia Artena and the high-priced Astura.
The Astura was presented at the Paris Motor Show in 1931. The car was designed to be assembled by external bodybuilders and marked the upper price segment. The Astura was powered by a V8 engine. The Astura was produced until 1939, due to the war it took until 1950 when the Lancia Aurelia was again produced by Lancia as a luxury model.
Series
There were four series in total:
- 1st series from 1931 to 1932 in 496 units
- 2. Series from 1932 to 1933 in 750 units, changes were better noise insulation
- 3rd series from 1933 to 1937 in 1243 units, with an additional short or long wheelbase
- 4th series from 1937 to 1939 in 423 units, only with a long wheelbase
