The Lancia Alfa or Lancia 12 HP is the first car of the automobile manufacturer Lancia & C. Fabbrica Automobili and was measured with a four-cylinder equipped that its performance at 1800 min -1 gave. That was an extremely high speed at the time .

The namesake Vincenzo Lancia opened a workshop called Lancia in 1908 in Borgo San Paolo in Turin with his partner Claudio Fogolin .
