The Lancia Prisma is a lower middle class passenger car model built from November 1982 by the Italian car manufacturer Lancia and is the notchback version of the Delta . As with the Delta, Lancia used the floor pan of the Fiat Ritmo , but with the Camuffo rear axle designed by Lancia .
During the course of its construction, there was a choice of five gasoline engines with outputs between 55 kW (75 PS) and 85 kW (115 PS) and two diesel engines with 48 kW (65 PS) and 59 kW (80 PS).
In May 1986 the Prism received a subtle facelift together with the Delta. The wheel discs, interior and radiator grille were adapted to the design line of that time. The 1.6-liter gasoline engine was now also available with electronic injection and thus developed 79 kW (108 hp). The new 2.0 ie had all-wheel drive .
In April 1989 it was replaced by the Dedra , which was also available as a station wagon from mid-1994.
Engines
All engines have two valves per cylinder, which tappets of belt driven , overhead camshafts are operated. In the two smaller Otto engines and the diesels, the valves hang parallel, in the other engines they are arranged opposite one another in a V shape.
