The second state government headed by Atli Dam as Prime Minister was the ninth government of the Faroe Islands after obtaining internal self-government ( heimastýri ) in 1948.

The government existed from January 11, 1975 to January 23, 1979. It was a three-party coalition consisting of Javnaðarflokkurin , Tjóðveldisflokkurin and Fólkaflokkurin . It was also the first Faroese government to consist of six ministers with fixed responsibilities.

Atli Dam from Javnaðarflokkurin led the government as prime minister. He was also responsible for foreign affairs. Finnbogi Ísakson vom Tjóðveldisflokkurin was Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Education, Housing and Transport. Jacob Lindenskov from Javnaðarflokkurin was Minister for Health, Industry and Justice, Petur Reinert from Tjóðveldisflokkurin was Minister for Fisheries and Municipal Affairs, Demmus Hentze from Fólkaflokkurin Minister for Finance and finally Dánjal Pauli Danielsen from Fólkaflokkurin Minister for Trade, Agriculture and Culture.
