from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The second state government under Kaj Leo Johannesen as Prime Minister was formed on November 14, 2011, restructured once in 2012 and 2013 and dismissed on September 15, 2015.

Education and composition

The eight-member state government was composed of a bourgeois-conservative four-party coalition in which the Sambandsflokkurin and the Fólkaflokkurin , each with three ministers, and the Miðflokkurin and the Sjálvstýrisflokkurin , each with one minister, were involved.

The government was initially able to rely on a comfortable majority of 19 seats in Løgting , which has 33 members . Two small government reshuffles took place in 2012 and 2013. Jákup Mikkelsen was replaced as Minister of Fisheries by Jacob Vestergaard in mid-February 2012 and Kári P. Højgaard was dismissed as Minister of the Interior on September 5, 2013 . Its tasks were assigned to other ministries. The Sjálvstýrisflokkurin then withdrew from the government on September 9, 2013.
