Saint-Nicolas church

Le Bourget is a French commune with 16,594 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Seine-Saint-Denis department . It is located northeast of the capital Paris . Le Bourget belongs to the canton of La Courneuve .

Le Bourget Airport , where the Paris Air Show takes place every two years , an important international trade fair for airplanes, helicopters, space travel and related technologies, is located in part of the municipality . The Concorde was presented to the public for the first time at this fair. 2005 flew A380 the company Airbus for the first time with passengers.

Le Bourget is also the location of one of the two marshalling yards in the Paris railway complex . At the end of 2015, the 21st UN Climate Change Conference took place in Le Bourget .
