Livry-Gargan is a French commune with 44,437 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Seine-Saint-Denis department in the Île-de-France region . The inhabitants are called Livryens .
Mayor has been Pierre-Yves Martin since 2014. He took over the post from former world figure skating champion Alain Calmat , who had held it since 1995.
