The Teachers' Association of Vocational Schools Saxony (LVBS) was founded in 2005 from the Federal Association of Teachers at Vocational Schools - State Association of Saxony - and the Association of Teachers at Business Schools - State Association of Saxony. It is based in Dresden .
Goals and content
Advocacy
The association has set itself the task of being the only teachers' association to exclusively support the interests of teachers in vocational schools.

The occupational classification is based on three specialist groups:
- Commercial professions
- Health professions
- Commercial Jobs
The territorial allocation is organized through regional associations, which consist of the school groups at the vocational school centers of the respective region. The regional association is headed by a regional officer and is intended to ensure direct contact with the school groups. It is divided into three regional associations: Dresden, Chemnitz and Leipzig.
Association goals
The LVBS pursues the following association goals:
- Realizing equivalence between education and training
- Preservation of the locations of vocational school centers and the educational offers offered there
- Creation of motivating working conditions for teachers at vocational schools
- Appointment of civil servants to teachers at vocational schools - but at least equal status of employed teachers
- Targeted profiling of advanced training, with a focus on professional subjects
- Classification-relevant further training measures for specialist practice teachers and teachers without full pedagogical training
- Return of the medical vocational schools to their original sponsorship in a municipality or in the state and harmonization of their framework conditions with those of the other public vocational schools
- Alignment of the pension payments / pensions of teachers in the Free State of Saxony to the pension / pension ratios of comparable teachers in the old federal states
