administration

In terms of area, Liang is one of the smaller mukim of the eight sub-districts of Belait with only about 10 km in length and a maximum of 4 km in width. It extends mainly in the coastal plain. In the west there is a larger barracks ( Camp Lumut ) and the border to the Seria district is determined by a lake. The Seria Bypass forms the traffic artery in the south of the district. There are several boat terminals at the estuaries.
