List of members of the Salzburg state parliament (1st republic, 1st electoral term)
This list of members of the Salzburg state parliament (1st republic, 1st electoral period) lists all members of the Salzburg state parliament in the 1st electoral period of the First Republic . The legislative period lasted from the constitution of the Landtag on April 23, 1919 to May 4, 1922. The constitution of the subsequent Landtag for the second electoral period took place on May 4, 1922.
In the 1919 state elections , the Christian Social Party had a relative majority with 19 seats. The Social Democratic Workers' Party of German Austria (SDAPDÖ) won 12 of the 40 seats, the German Freedom Party (DFP) received eight seats. The Pinzgau Economic Party also had a mandate, but its deputy subsequently joined the Christian-Social State Parliament Club.
After the members of the state parliament were sworn in on April 23, 1919, the state parliament elected the members of the state government Meyer on the same day .
