The list of parishes in Pará by population reflects the results of the 2010 census for the Brazilian state of Pará , as published by the Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística (IBGE). As of 2013 Pará had a total of 144 individual cities, the municípios . The 144th Munizip became the former district of the city of Santarém on January 1, 2013: Mojuí dos Campos with an estimated 15,446 inhabitants on July 1, 2015 and would thus be in 115th place.

More recent estimates of the population were published by the IBGE as of July 1, 2017, July 1, 2018 and July 1, 2019. The next census was scheduled to take place every 10 years in 2020, but has been postponed due to a pandemic.
