Ministry of Justice of East Timor

This is a list of the Justice Ministers of East Timor ( Portuguese Ministro da Justiça ; tetum Ministru Justisa ) since independence was proclaimed in 1975 . In addition, the deputy ministers and, if provided as an office, the state secretaries subordinate to the Ministry of Justice (MJ) are specified.

Between 1975 and 2000 there was only one government in exile due to the Indonesian occupation . In the VI. In the government , the Ministry of Justice was subordinate to the Minister of State, Coordinator of Administrative Affairs and Minister of State Administration.
