Saigerhütte - Hüttenmühle, founded in 1537, extraction of silver from silver-containing black copper as well as the processing of high-quality copper, Saigerhütte processed around 100 to 175 t of copper per year and 0.65 to 1 t of silver per year, belonged to the complex in the 16th century four hammer mills, first copper rolling mill in 1847, old hut (main building) demolished in 1951, today display facility.
Hüttenmühle and outbuildings (An der Natzschung 1): 16th century, served as a mill for Saigerhütte, ground floor quarry stone, upper floor brick.
Garhaus (An der Natzschung 2): 16th century, former smelter for refining the cooked copper, used as a carpentry shop until 1990, ground floor quarry stone masonry, saddle roof, extension to the gable (wooden building) as a wheel room of the former mill.
Residential house (An der Natzschung 3): built in 1935, previously there was an old workers' house, two-storey, saddle roof, facade clad with wood.
Old hammer (An der Natzschung 5): 16th century, reconstruction 1957, hammer mill for forging roof copper sheets with water wheel drive for hammers, bellows, quarry stone masonry, hipped roof with wood shingle covering.
Warrior Memorial (before An der Natzschung 5): In memory of the fallen d. First World War, additional plaque for the fallen soldiers of the Second World War.
Försterhaus (An der Natzschung 7): 1610, formerly used as a forester's house, ground floor quarry stone masonry, upper floor brick.
Workers 'houses (An der Natzschung 11, 13, 15, 17, 19, 21): built in 1900 by master builder Trubenbach, built as works workers' apartments for the company FA Lange - Saigerhütte, three detached semi-detached houses of the same type. - ^ Residential and commercial building, built in 1902 by the Olbernhau master builder Gustav Neubert for the colonial goods dealer Bernhard Eisold. The three-storey structure with a moderately inclined gable roof was created over an angular floor plan. The building was later expanded by adding a wing (storage building) along Goethestrasse. The street facades with above-average design standards show forms of the Neo-Renaissance. Ground floor with plastering imitating ashlar, the two upper floors covered with red clinker brickwork, the window openings framed by elaborately profiled walls (partly with gable-shaped roofs or structurally accentuated relief arches). The building, which characterizes the street image due to its corner location, is broken at the confluence with Goethestrasse and raised by a stepped gable. While the business entrance is on the broken corner, the upper floors are accessed via the entrance in the far left axis on Bahnhofstrasse. The house entrance door still dates from the time it was built, as well as ornamented tiled floors in the stairwell, block steps on masonry, wooden stair railings with turned columns and filling supports, inside also original apartment entrance and room doors, historical ovens, loggias, simple ceiling stucco. The building documents the architectural and urban development of the Olbernhaus, which received town charter in 1902. The builder Gustav Neubert had a decisive influence on the redesign of the city (various villas, including Freiberger Strasse 51, Pockau church).

Rectory with garden and enclosure, villa-like, representative building with numerous details from the period of construction (1882/83, after the previous building burned down in 1881), in an important urban development location, facade structured in neo-Renaissance forms, the somewhat recessed two-story plastered building has a front garden and is separated from the street by a metal fence with ornate sandstone posts.
The main facade facing the street shows five axes. The corner areas emerge like a risk. The facade surface (also the front sides) of the first and second floors is characterized by an elaborate plaster groove. Profiled cornices emphasize the horizontal structure. The flat hipped roof is illuminated inside by gable dormers. Many details from the time of construction have been preserved on the building (entrance door, interior doors, windows on the ground floor with curtained winter windows, box windows on the upper floor, natural stone slabs in the stairwell, etc.). It is one of the most representative of its kind in Olbernhau.
The rear remise, demolished in 2015, was built at the same time as the parish office and was formally and creatively adapted to the parish building. - ↑ The company, founded in 1861, moved into a new factory building in 1890 - the current one - and until 1905 only produced circular saws with an electric drive. A small steam engine from local mechanical engineering was installed for the saw frame purchased in 1905. The horizontal single-cylinder counter-pressure machine built in 1905 by Maschinenfabrik O. Seifert, Olbernhau, was in operation until 1965: base area 4.5 m × 1.8 m, piston diameter 300 mm, double-acting, stroke 500 mm, flywheel diameter 2.60 m, next to it a belt pulley of 2 m diameter, 100 rpm, power 50 HP. Slide control with base and expansion slide, eccentric on the crankshaft, vertical centrifugal governor, was driven by a belt from the crankshaft and acted rotating on the expansion slide. Steam pressure 9 at, boiler tube boiler with 34 boiler tubes, from Sulzberger, Flöha.

Villa and coach house, the villa of architectural and historical importance built in 1889 by the master builder Gustav Neubert (see also Villa Albertstrasse 31) for himself. The building has two floors, a loft and a basement. The irregular building floor plan can also be seen on the façades. The east corner is emphasized by a bay window. On the southwest side a flight of stairs led into the garden. Its platform was later redesigned on the ground floor and first floor in favor of a veranda. The entrance area and staircase can be read through the cubatures in the facade. The two middle rooms on the north-east and south-west side are highlighted like a risalit and crowned by gables with flight rafters. The ground floor rises above a plastered plinth with a profiled ledge, with imitation corner blocks and plastering. An expansive cornice separates it from the more simply kept upper floor. The windows are highlighted by profiled walls, keystones and horizontal window crowns. The roof protrudes a long way and leaves the curved heads of the rafters visible. The windows were designed as box windows, with a few exceptions they are still original.
If you enter the building through the roofed entrance area with the historic front door, the interior also reveals valuable construction and design elements: terrazzo floor with mosaic inlays, frame panels with original handle sets / fittings, historic ovens on the ground floor, profiled wooden beam ceilings in the salon and anteroom (painted over) and oak stairs including railings. There is a shed on the north-west side of the property, and the corners of the building are accentuated by gables with flying rafters. The gate situation was changed later. The facade originally had a plaster use analogous to the main house. The spacious garden is characterized by old trees. - ↑ Saigerhütte founded in 1537, extraction of silver from silver-containing black copper as well as the processing of high quality copper. In the 16th century, Saigerhütte processed around 100 to 175 t of copper per year and 0.65 to 1 t of silver per year, the complex included four hammer mills. 1847 first copper rolling mill, 1951. Old smelter (main building) demolished, today display facility. Neuhammer (Grünthaler Str. 121): original structure from 1586/1587, several alterations and additions to both gables from the 19th century. Historical middle section: one-storey, partly half-timbered, laterally attached wheel room repaired and reconstructed. Neuhammer: the rest of the building used as a forge.

A relief is still reminiscent of this extension, but it is incorrectly attached to the outside of the building's west gable. In the building there were still the cash register and the silver distillery. Barn: one storey, high slate roof with hip hip, gutted, used for office purposes
Residential building: two-storey, baroque core, beautiful baroque portal to the street, sandstone walls, roof, arched windows on the ground floor, representative design
The building was rebuilt in 1878 as the first bank by Olbernhau. The company, which was founded from the manufactories and bills of exchange of Chr. Fr. Seyfert, was located at Grünthaler Strasse 31 from 1820 to 1843, then moved to Markt 16. In 1861 an advance payment association was founded, the bank was opened in 1862 and then transferred to Allgemeine in 1918 Deutsche Credit Anstalt (ADCA) affiliated. A previous building may have been included and fundamentally rebuilt in the new building.
The representative two-storey plastered building significantly shapes the townscape. The facade is lavishly structured with plaster grooves, belt cornices, corner pilasters, window walls with horizontal roofing and plaster fields under the windows of the upper floor. The building is completed by a high hipped mansard roof with a bay window and dormers with a gable roof. The property includes a barn, which stands parallel to the residential and commercial building on the courtyard side, behind it is a house garden, part of an originally larger garden, of which, for example, a hornbeam, beech and rhododendrons have been preserved. Next to a lawn there is a former water basin. The property is closed to the river by a quarry stone wall with a slightly sloping end, this covered by stone slabs (ancillary facility). The front building was the first bank to acquire an extraordinarily great significance in terms of urban and architectural history.
As the Berliner Meilenblätter confirm, the property was already built on in the same way around 1800 and thus clearly belongs to the old town center of the former agricultural town, from which the great significance of the city's history can also be derived. Even at this time, important components of the stately property were the rear farm building, the garden and the rear enclosure. As such, these are also of historical importance. - ↑ Two-storey representative plastered building with a half- hip roof, regularly arranged windows with natural stone walls, door portal in the middle of the eaves side, plaster decoration of the facade, quarry stone masonry, on the courtyard side on the upper floor the windows with wooden surrounds, very good fixed interior: groin vaults on the ground floor, upper floor frame panel doors with original fittings.

Two-storey plastered building, hipped roof, simple structuring with red clinker strips,
villa-like two-storey residential building with a steeply sloping hipped roof with a post, which was built in 1935/36 by the Baumeister Winkler company for Mr. Leopold Wetzel according to the present plans. The simple, objectively designed building corresponds to the taste of the times and is largely in an authentic state of preservation. The horizontal window formats, the position of the windows flush with the exterior plaster, the asymmetrical arrangement of the openings, the preference for "corner" windows and the rounded edges of the stand bay (originally a balcony on the upper floor) are typical of the 1930s. The sparingly used facade structuring elements have a subtle color scheme. The barley plaster is left in its natural state, the smoothly plastered areas around the windows were painted in an ocher color, as was the eaves cornice, the windows were framed in green, sills, plinths, pillars, etc. were clad with brickwork.
The interior of the building shows no changes, the spatial structures are original. The building documents the design of a villa-like residential building from the 1930s and the building owner's claim to living culture. The public interest in preservation results from its importance in terms of architectural history. - ↑ a b funeral hall: plastered building in neoclassical forms, rectangular floor plan, entrance area emphasized by a three-axis central projection, plaster grooves, saddle roof. Chapel: neo-Romanesque forms, clinker brick building, original condition, flanked by six trees, referred to as a speech hall, stalls from other churches, glass windows from the time of construction: Resurrection by Gebr. Liebert, Dresden. Altar table, lectern from 1925, barrel-vaulted room, apse, arched window, renovation in 1994, entrance door, wooden coffered door with two leaves, skylight window with a round arch with sprout. aisle castle church (under the chancel crypt) with a massive western tower with differently designed sound openings (onion dome), slate covering, irregular choir with semicircular apse
Inside: coffered ceiling, two-storey galleries, baroque tombs. Equipment ( Silbermann organ ), old gravestones (leaning against the churchyard wall) and probably memorial stone with relief (on the church wall). Silbermann organ: single manual, v. 1715, normal tuning by changing the mechanism. - ↑ a b The castle emerged from a high medieval courtyard from the 13th century. From 1352 it belonged to the Lords of Schönberg. It lies on a hill and is surrounded by a palace park with ponds, a system of paths, old trees and a mausoleum. There are various farm buildings to the north and east of the castle. The castle dominates the view from the direction of Olbernhau with its building mass and the castle and village church of St. Georg to the east. The four-wing complex with an angled coach house attached to the north surrounds an irregular inner courtyard. There are large courtyard gates in the east and north. The south and west wings date from the 16th century, the other two wings can probably be dated to the 17th century in terms of their origin. The two-storey building made of quarry stone is plastered and in many areas still shows Renaissance portals and walls made of natural stone. Particularly noteworthy is the arched portal on the tower in the south-west corner of the castle courtyard, which bears the year 1578 and the coat of arms of those of Schönberg - it was replaced by a copy in 1919. The buildings have gable roofs and slate roofing. Dormer windows divide the roof areas. A fire in 1953 destroyed valuable components, especially in the area of the south and west wings - roof structure, baroque tower dome, etc. The interior still contains a lot of valuable details - vaults, portals, baroque stove, gentlemen's rooms from the period after 1900, etc. The monumental value of the complex results from its great importance in terms of local history, building history, architectural design and the local image.

The mausoleum is part of the Pfaffroda palace complex. It is located in the palace gardens to the west of the south-west corner of the palace building and served as a burial place for the owners, the von Schönberg family. Before that - since 1753 - they used a crypt in the village church in Pfaffroda. The building was built from carefully hewn sandstone ashlar masonry using excellent masonry technology. It consists of a rectangular main building, to which an apse with a polygonal (three-sided) exterior was added to the east. The two front sides are closed by gables with acroteria and cross. A gable roof covered with sheet copper is stretched in between. On the north side, a front entrance with a profiled arched portal leads into the shallow barrel vaulted crypt, in which the coffins of the deceased family members are. The upper floor, which is accessed through an elaborately designed neo-Romanesque portal with the family coat of arms and an ornate cast iron door, houses a chapel. The interior still shows the original decorative paintings, which are, however, endangered due to poor building maintenance. The wooden beam ceiling is decorated with a golden stencil painting. In the apse there is an altar with a cross. On the south side there are grave plaques in blind arcades from the deceased family members of those von Schönberg, including those of the historically important Dr. Alfons servant zu Schönberg. The floor is covered with ceramic tiles. The windows on the south side are made of lead and were decorated with black solder painting, only remnants of which have survived. On the north wall, a painted inscription indicates the time the mausoleum was built - 18 (?) 2.
The chapel was probably built on the occasion of the death of Joachim Heinrich von Schönberg in 1871.
