Deanery Gmünd

In 2008, as part of a structural reform, the Deanery Gmünd was merged with the Deanery Weitra and has since comprised 32 parishes. The merger will be continued under the name of the Deanery Gmünd.

Deans

• 1974–1977 and 1994–2002: Rudolf Stark (1930–2014) was pastor of the parish church of Weitra Dechant from the former deanery of Weitra.
• 2002–2016: Hermann Katzenschlager, pastor of the parish church in Kirchberg am Walde, is dean.
• Since 2016: Herbert Schlosser, pastor in Schrems and Langegg
