The honors and awards of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg are listed in chronological order without weighting. The list contains the awards granted by the Senate or on its behalf.
Not included are awards from foundations, associations, clubs, companies and universities as well as police and fire departments. Also not included are medals of thanks for helpers in one-off disasters (e.g. Great Fire 1842, storm surge 1962 , Oder flood 1997 , Elbe flood 2002 ).
