List of ramparts in Lower Saxony
Wall castles in Lower Saxony can be found as fortifications in the plain and on hills. The regions include the Middle Weser , Leine and the Deister area . They are usually assigned to a period from the 8th to the 12th century. In individual cases there is also a dating to the La Tène period .
