Live?! * @ Like a Suicide , also Live Like a Suicide , is the first release by the American hard rock band Guns N 'Roses . The EP was released on December 13, 1986 on the band's own label UZI Suicide with a print run of 10,000 copies and contains four titles, all of which are studio recordings with a well-rehearsed live audience. This procedure was chosen because they avoided the financial expense of a "real" concert recording. All contained titles can also be found on the A-side on the EP G N 'R Lies ,released in 1988, as well as the artwork of the cover .
The songs
Reckless Life
Reckless Life is the opening song on the record. At the beginning you hear Slash say " Hey fuckers, suck on Guns N 'Fuckin' Roses! " The song was written by Axl Rose and Izzy Stradlin when they were still playing in the band Hollywood Rose .
Nice boys
Nice Boys is the cover version of a rose tattoo song . The original is from the 1978 album Rose Tattoo .
Move to the City
Move to the City is a composition by Izzy Stradlin , Del James and Chris Weber . The title is the only one on the record to contain wind instruments .
Mama Kin
Mama Kin is originally from Aerosmith , included on their debut album of the same name from 1973. According to their own statements, Aerosmith was one of the greatest influences for Guns N 'Roses.
