Lopchari ( Russian Лопхари ) is a village on the right bank of the Kunowat River (Russian Куноват ), a right tributary of the Ob in the west of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug in northern Western Siberia in Russia with 489 inhabitants (as of October 14, 2010).

The district council , the administrative center of which is Lopchari, also includes the villages of Kasym-Mys ( Казым-Мыс ), Sangymgort ( Сангымгорт ), Sorymlogas ( Сорымлогась ), Logasjegan ( Логасischегинго and ришинго ).

In 2012, the village in the West Siberian lowlands had a population of 668 people, 90% of whom belong to the Khanty ethnic group. The remaining 10 percent consist of Komi , Nenets , Selkupen and Russians . Lopchari belongs to the Shuryschkarsky district , whose administrative seat Muschi is about 70 km to the northwest.
