The Lower Goulburn National Park is a national park in the north of the Australian state of Victoria , 185 km north of Melbourne .

The park runs along the Goulburn River from Shepparton to its confluence with the Murray River at Echuca . The vegetation consists of alluvial forest directly on the river and eucalyptus forests , especially with the species river red gum , yellow box and gray box , in the areas further away from the river. For wildlife, the park is an important link between the mountains of the Great Dividing Range and the Murray River.

The park also contains over 100 archaeological sites from the Yorta Yorta Aboriginal people who lived there .
