Luca Maric
Luca Maric (born September 11, 1965 in Valjevo , Serbia , then Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia ) is a German actor .
Life
Maric was born in the former Yugoslavia and is of Serbian descent. Maric began his acting career in the late 1980s as an extra and small actor , u. a. in the television series Großstadtrevier and Tatort . Since the mid-1990s, he initially received small speaking roles and supporting roles in German TV films and TV series , later he was regularly seen in numerous TV series in leading and supporting episodes. Maric was mostly cast as a gangster, crook, villain and as a performer of shady, opaque characters. In the years that followed, Maric remained largely true to this type of role. He often played foreign characters with a migration background , especially from the Balkans and the former Yugoslavia.
Maric had u. a. Episodic roles in the series The Clown (1998), The Investigator (2001), In the Name of the Law (2001; as an arms dealer Dossek), Double Use (2004; as the vegetable wholesaler Giorgos Amanidis), With Heart and Handcuffs (2005; as Albanian Dimitri Kouros ), METRO - A Team for Life and Death (2006; as Johan Thorben), SOKO 5113 (2006; as Schleuser Rade Petkovic), SOKO Kitzbühel (2008; as Albanian client Besian Frasheri), Emergency Call Hafenkante (2008; as Boris Bruhns, Economist of the brothel 'Big Easy'), SOKO Stuttgart (2011; as Manni Nerlinger, head of a skydiving club), A case for two (2011; as a dubious music producer and self-proclaimed "Graf von Bonames"), The Public Prosecutor (2012; as a nightclub- Owner Mike Drewsen), The Last Bull (2013; as the villain Branko Palic), cheerful to fatal: Koslowski & Haferkamp (2014; as a private investigator for an insurance company) and Heldt (2015; as a tattoo artist “Ink”).
In 2011 Maric was in the ARD evening series Verbotene Liebe as the villain Dr. To see Berger. Maric had a recurring series role between 2011 and 2015 in the ZDF crime series SOKO Wismar . He played Heiner Lommack, a well-known moneylender and criminal who is known as the “godfather of Wismar”. In Tatort: Order in Lot (2012) he embodied the murderer Rade Loncar. In the ARD television film Die Frauen der Wikinger - Odins Töchter (2014) he plays the ship owner Ulf, the husband of the main female character Sigrun , played by Esther Schweins . From January 2015 Maric took on the role of the uncouth but also charming craftsman Robert Küpper in the RTL soap Unter Uns .
In 1995 he took part in the Karl May Festival in Bad Segeberg .
Maric has been running the Pyrates Bar on Hamburg's fish market since 2012 .
