Ludwig von Meixner
Ludwig von Meixner (born August 24, 1842 in Berlin , † August 30, 1902 in Landshut ) was a Bavarian administrative officer.
Life
Ludwig von Meixner was the son of k. Bavarian Customs Administration Councilor Carl von Meixner born in Berlin. His family soon returned to Bavaria. He studied at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich Law . After completing his studies, he joined the Bavarian administrative service at the Munich district office in 1869 . He held a wide variety of positions. In 1875 he became a district office assessor in Mühldorf am Inn , in 1877 an assessor for the police in Munich, and in 1885 police councilor there. In 1890 he was transferred to the government of Lower Bavaria and promoted to government assessor. From 1897 to 1901 he was director of the Munich police. On February 1, 1901, Ludwig von Meixner was appointed District President of Lower Bavaria . He held the office until his death.
