Ludwig Fuchs of Bimbach and Dornheim

Franz Ludwig Freiherr Fuchs von Bimbach and Dornheim (born December 30, 1833 in Bimbach , † December 22, 1900 in Landshut ) was a Bavarian administrative officer.

Life

Ludwig was a son of the Bavarian chamberlain Franz Fuchs von Bimbach and Dornheim (1805-1860) and his first wife Franziska, née Ehrenfest (1811-1839). The later Bavarian Lieutenant General Reinhold Fuchs von Bimbach and Dornheim (1845-1903) was his stepbrother from his father's second marriage to Regina, née Ehrenfest (1817-1903).

Fox of Bimbach and Dornheim studied at the University of Würzburg , the Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen and the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich Law . In 1851 he became a member of the Corps Franconia Würzburg . After completing his studies, he entered the Bavarian administrative service in the Würzburg district office in 1858 and in the same year switched to the government of Lower Franconia and Aschaffenburg as an accessist . In 1864 he became district office assessor in Hassfurt , in 1866 in Ochsenfurt and in 1869 in Würzburg. In 1874 he was transferred back to the government of Lower Franconia and Aschaffenburg and promoted to government assessor. In 1876 he was appointed district administrator for the district of Ingolstadt . In 1879 he returned to the government of Lower Franconia and Aschaffenburg, was promoted to the government council and in 1887 was awarded the Knight's Cross First Class of the Order of Merit of St. Michael . In 1891, Fuchs von Bimbach and Dornheim was transferred to the government of Swabia and Neuburg and promoted to government director . In 1894 he was appointed chamberlain

From May 1st, 1895 until his death, Ludwig Fuchs von Bimbach and Dornheim was district president of Lower Bavaria . In this position he received the title of Excellency in 1897 and the Commander's Cross of the Order of Merit of the Bavarian Crown in 1900 .
