Rudolf von Andrian-Werburg
Rudolf Freiherr von Andrian-Werburg (born January 4, 1844 in Froschgrün near Naila , Upper Franconia , † November 7, 1919 in Munich ) was a German administrative lawyer in Bavaria.
Life
Andrian-Werburg enrolled on November 2, 1861 at the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen for law. The Corps Onoldia reciprocated him on December 13, 1862. As an inactive , he moved to the University of Leipzig . There he filed for state bankruptcy in 1868. He began his career with the government of Upper Franconia (1869) and at the district assembly in Neustadt an der Saale. At his own request he came to the district offices of Aichach (1875), Erlangen and Nuremberg (1877) as assessor. After a suicide attempt on October 21, 1877, he was incapacitated until January 3, 1878. On March 1, 1886, he came to the government of Lower Bavaria as a government assessor . Two years later he came to Hof (Saale) as a district administrator . On October 1, 1890 he became a councilor in the government of the Upper Palatinate . In 1902 he joined the government of the Palatinate (Bavaria) as a government director , but on September 10th of the same year he became district president in Lower Bavaria.
Soon he was attacked from the Chamber of Deputies (Bavaria) ; the MPs wanted to use the structural crisis of the economy for their own purposes. Opposed to the Christian as well as to the social democratic workers' organizations, v. Andrian-Werburg in conflict with Georg Heim and the conservative nobility in the center . They wanted to improve the position of the workers in the Bavarian Forest . Franz Seraph von Pichler organized a congress of the Lower Bavarian Center Party in Plattling on November 22, 1909 . Among the 180 delegates were members of the Bavarian Reichsrat and the Reichstag , including Heinrich von Aretin and Maximilian von Soden-Fraunhofen . While the Christian unions were being strengthened, v. Andrian-Werburg under increasing pressure. On March 4, 1914, he asked for a retirement. In the same month he was adopted in the town hall (Landshut) . He retired in Munich, where he died at the age of 75.
