Luis Moncada (born July 18, 1977 in Honduras ) is a Honduran actor. He and his brother, Daniel Moncada , gained notoriety mainly through the roles of the Salamanca twins, Leonel and Marco, from the series Breaking Bad .

life and career

Daniel Moncada was born in the Central American country Honduras and grew up with his younger brother, Marco, in their single mother in the district of Echo Park in Los Angeles , into the United States. In his youth he was a member of a gang and served a prison sentence for stealing a car. After imprisonment, he managed to turn his life around. He began a relationship with a probation officer named Michelle, whom he married in 2004. They moved into an apartment in the Studio City district with Luis' brother . Moncada has two children with his wife.

In 2002, he took on his first role in front of the camera in a guest appearance on the series American Family . After further series appearances, he was seen in 2004 in the respective small roles in the films Latin Dragon and Collateral . He then appeared in guest roles in The Unit - A Question of Honor , Lincoln Heights , CSI: Miami , Californication , Moonlight , LA Crash , Emergency Room - Die Notaufnahme and Lie to Me .
