Mabini is a Philippine municipality in the province of Bohol has 27,171 inhabitants (census Aug. 1, 2015). Cogtong Bay extends to the south , with extensive mangrove forests and tidal flats along its coastline . The Tagaytay Reef and Lumislis Island lie in front of the municipality in the waters of the Canigao Canal .
