Manapla is a municipality in the province of Negros Occidental on the island of Negros in the Philippines . It has 54,845 inhabitants (August 1, 2015 census) who live in twelve barangays . It belongs to the second income bracket of the communities in the Philippines and is described as partially urbanized .
It is located about 45 km northeast of Bacolod City . The journey time is around 1 hour by bus and around 55 minutes by car. Its northern border is the Guimaras Strait , the Negros of the island of Panay separates. Cadiz City borders the parish to the east and Victoria City is to the west. The topography of the municipality is described as hilly flat land.
