Toboso is a municipality in the Province of Negros Occidental on the island of Negros in the Philippines . It has 42,114 inhabitants (August 1, 2015 census) who live in 9 barangays . It belongs to the third income bracket of the communities in the Philippines and is described as partially urbanized .

It is located about 115 km east of Bacolod City . Travel time is around three hours by bus, and around two and a half hours by car. Its neighboring parishes are Sagay City in the northwest, Escalante City in the north, Calatrava in the south and the parish is bordered by Tanon Street in the west . The topography of the municipality is described as hilly in the eastern part.
Attractions
In the municipal area, the Mainit Hot Springs are located in the area of the Barangay San Isidro. The Kampanoy Grotto is located in the area of the Barangays Luna. The Trangkalan grotto is located in the Brgy area. Magticol, it was used for ritual acts until the middle of the 18th century. The approx. 250 meter high cascades of the Dalisun waterfalls are located near the Sitio Vergara in Brgy. Bug-ang. In front of the coast is the 80 hectare Kevin's Reef, which can be reached after a ten-minute boat ride.
