Valladolid is a Filipino community in the province of Negros Occidental on the island of Negros . It has 37,833 inhabitants (August 1, 2015 census) who live in 16 barangays . It belongs to the 4th income bracket of the communities in the Philippines and is described as partially urbanized .
It is located approximately 31 km southwest of Bacolod City . Travel time is around 45 minutes by bus or jeepney , and around 30 minutes by car. Its neighboring communities are Pulupandan in the north, La Carlota City in the east, San Enrique in the south and the community borders on Guimaras Street in the west .
In the municipality is the Our Lady of Guadalupe Church , the largest church building in the Negros Occidental province, which was built in 1851. The Balay Dolid Museum (Valladolid Community Museum) informs the visitor about the history of the community.
