Maurice Fontaine (politician)

Maurice Fontaine (born September 20, 1919 - January 2, 2015 ) was a French politician. He was a member of the Senate from 1976 to 1980 .

Fontaine replaced the late Suzanne Schreiber in 1976 as Senator for the Gard department . In the Senate he belonged to the moderate left and sat on the Commission for Cultural Affairs. In the following elections in 1980 he did not run again.
