Muster-Schmidt
Muster-Schmidt is a publishing company based in Northeim . It was founded in 1905 by Christian Hansen-Schmidt as a Berlin sample card factory. The company consists of sample cards, publishing and bookstore .
history
The origins of the publishing house Muster-Schmidt go back to the year 1905. Shortly after the turn of the century, Christian Hansen-Schmidt († 1932) founded the Berlin sample card factory in Berlin-Kreuzberg . Later his wife, Louise Hansen-Schmidt, joined them. The company mainly produced color and textile sample cards for industry and trade. The company has been working with the RAL German Institute for Quality Assurance and Labeling since 1927 . In 1936 Otto Hieronymi AG in Göttingen was taken over. During the Second World War , the company was mainly active as a printing company . The Berlin location was badly damaged by Allied air raids at the end of the war .
Hans Hansen-Schmidt founded the Muster-Schmidt-Verlag in 1947 . He received significant impulses from the Göttingen scientists Robert Pohl and Hermann Rein . In 1952 he opened an agency in Zurich and founded the subsidiary Göttinger Farbfilter . In 2002 the company moved to Northeim .

The head office of Muster-Schmidt Verlagsgesellschaft mbH is located in Sudheim in Lower Saxony . The current managing director is Alexandra Gerhardy. A representation in Switzerland runs through the Muster-Schmidt GmbH in Oberrüti in the canton of Aargau .
