NGC 2483 is an open star cluster in the constellation Puppis and has an angular extent of 9.0 'and an apparent magnitude of 7.6 mag. It was discovered by John Herschel on January 22nd, 1835 and is also known as the OCL 677 and ESO 430-SC2 .
