NGC 2485 is a barred spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBb in the constellation Little Dog south of the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 200 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 95,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky are the galaxies NGC 2491 , NGC 2496 , NGC 2499 .
The object was discovered by Albert Marth on March 25, 1864 .
