NGC 2507 is a lenticular galaxy of the Hubble type S0 / a in the constellation Cancer on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 199 million light-years from the Milky Way and about 150,000 light-years across.
In the same area of the sky is u. a. the galaxy NGC 2514 .
The object was discovered by William Herschel on March 18, 1786 .
