NGC 2476 is an elliptical galaxy of Hubble type E4 in the constellation Lynx at the northern sky . It is estimated to be 166 million light years from the Milky Way and about 70,000 ly in diameter.
The object was discovered on February 23, 1878 by Édouard Stephan .
