NGC 3785 is a lenticular galaxy of the Hubble-type S0 in the constellation Leo, north of the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 408 million light years from the Milky Way and about 120,000 light years in diameter. Together with NGC 3784 , it forms the (optical) galaxy pair Holm 271 .
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 3781 and NGC 3826 .
The object was discovered on April 28, 1881 by Édouard Stephan .
