Nash Edgerton (2011)

Nash Edgerton (born January 19, 1973 ) is an Australian stuntman , actor , director and film producer . He is the brother of actor Joel Edgerton .

Life and career

Edgerton took over the stunts for his brother Joel several times and also doubled other actors such as David Thewlis , Bruce Spence , Richard Roxburgh , Dominic Purcell and Marton Csokas . In the science fiction films Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones (2002) and Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005) he doubled the actor Ewan McGregor .

He also appeared repeatedly as an actor in smaller roles and as a director made various short films, for which he often wrote the script and acted as a producer. His short film Spider was shown at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival .

Edgerton has also directed music videos by Brandon Flowers , Bob Dylan , Missy Higgins , Ben Lee , Eskimo Joe and Hilltop Hoods .

In 2008 Edgerton made his first feature film, The Square . Bear , the follow-up to the short film Spider , was screened at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival and the 2012 Fantasy Film Festival .
