The nature reserve Horster Mühle is located in the Unna district in North Rhine-Westphalia .

The approximately 7.6 hectare area, which was placed under nature protection in 1992 , extends southeast of the core town of the municipality of Bönen . The B 63 runs east of the area .

The protection takes place

• for the conservation, development and restoration of communities and biotopes of certain wild animal and plant species. As habitats and communities are especially the natural stream of Lünerner creek with his bach accompanying structures, ponds and damp hollows, pondweed companies , kink foxtail grass, extensively used grassland , flutter rushes -Nassweide, focal buttercups -Nassweide Society, reed canary grass - reeds , shore high perennial corridors , White willow trees, wooded valley edges, cap trees and other cave-rich trees.
