The Lippeaue nature reserve from Stockum to Werne is located in the area of ​​the towns of Bergkamen and Werne in the Unna district in North Rhine-Westphalia .

The approximately 188 hectare area was placed under nature protection in 2007 under the code number UN-056 . It extends southeast and east of the core town of Werne and south of Stockum , a district of Werne, along the Lippe . Not far to the south flows the Datteln-Hamm Canal , a little further south runs the state road L 736.
